As a DevOps Support Engineer, your mate will design, implement and drive adoption of Continuous Delivery and DevOps utilising industry best practice frameworks, tools and process.

This is not your traditional Wintel Support team, more SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), Continuous Improvement with a DevOps approach and all clients sitting on AWS. The focus is support plus ongoing enhancement once the solution has passed over from the project team.

We provide ²⁴⁄₇ support - so this role does mean your mate would be a part of the afterhours roster aka ‘pager duty’

Extensive experience with Java Development (interested in ruby, python etc.), Continuous Delivery (Automated Build - Maven), Deployment and Testing

Excellent communicator with consulting experience

Strong experience with both sides of Dev-Ops

DevOps experience with automated provisioning/config Mgmt with Ansible, Linux based Systems and Oracle DBs

Works comfortably in an Agile environment to uplift platforms in maturity

Expert level with Git, Nexus/Artifactory and Jenkins

AWS Cloud experience - CloudFormation, Tags, ASGs, EC2, VPCs, CW,RDS, DDB, SNS etc.
