Grossard Education is a small, privately owned company looking to expand. Our remote team meet online every day to share successes, discuss obstacles and solutions.
Working as Head of Sales, your friend will work closely with the executive team who actively seek out and listen to opinions and feedback.
Our flagship product
MAPPEN provides a curriculum and professional learning package to more than 3,000 primary school teachers across Australia.
Each MAPPEN subscriber gains access to a comprehensive concept-based curriculum that integrates; History, Geography, Economics, Civics and Citizenship, Science, Technology, Personal, Social and Community Health. MAPPEN also incorporates Critical and Creative Thinking, Intercultural and Ethical Understanding and Personal and Social Capabilities. MAPPEN is regularly updated to comply with mandated standards and teachers have access to numerous videos that provide professional development.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Sales will have two main roles.
Leading the sales team.
Oversee sales team performance, setting and ensure KPIs are being met Mentoring and coaching the existing 3 sales team members. Helping in the process of hiring new sales staff. Individual Sales
Generating and closing leads to meet sales targets. Role model to the sales team, getting hands on experience in the challenges and opportunities in the role. The Head of Sales will work closely with the CEO to create an overall sales strategy; writing monthly reports on the progress of the sales team, and using data and sentiment analysis to forecast future sales.

Your friend’s skills and experience should include
Prior sales management experience with a history of achieving sales targets and utilising proven sales methodologies is essential.
Must be self-motivated and be able to maintain high levels of energy and action whilst working remotely.
The ability to lead a growing sales team, demonstrating the required skills and attitudes by example.
Motivated by the opportunity to generate your own sales and meet with prospective clients.
Prior experience in coaching and developing staff to succeed.
Prior experience in the education sector would be a major advantage, but is not essential.
